The Inspector you choose is crucial to the success of your Inspection. Here are questions you should ask when selecting your Inspector.




How long have you been in business?
We have been in the property inspection business since 1977 and have perfomed more than 25,000 inspections.

Do you have Errors & Omissions and General Liability Insurance?
Yes, we do carry both Errors & Omissions and General Liability Insurance.

Do you allow the client to attend the inspection?
We always encourage the client to attend the inspection. Clients who attend have a better understanding of the property as viewed by the inspector and are better able to read and interpret the written report. It also provides the client the opportunity to ask questions.

How long will the inspection take?
The time it takes will vary depending upon the size, age, and configuration of the property. Inspection of a 25-year-old, 1500 square foot, single story home will require roughly 3 hours.

Do you have a contractors license?
Greg Marell is a licensed California General Contractor.

Do you provide a narrative written report or a checklist report?
We offer only a written narrative report, which is approximately 50 pages and includes photographs. Also included is our exclusive Action Item Review, which is a listing of reportable conditions that need immediate attention.

The inspection fee will vary depending on the size, location, and age of the property. Once we have this information we will provide you with a quote.

How soon is the report available?
It takes two business days to produce the written report. The report is emailed to you when it is completed.
